Kovalam is a beach town in thiruvananthapuram city in Kerala..It is situated 15 Km south of Thiruvananthapuram city. It is an internationaly renowned beach.It has been a favourite place of visit for tourists since long past and regarded as one of the finest beach resorts of the world. Anybody can take a seabath without fear and can make sun bath.At present Kovalam beach is known as the ''Paradise of the South."Water and favourable climate make Kovalam a year-round spot for swimming.The sea here is Pacific and shallow.
